Founded in 1989, the Philadelphia Falcons are a co-ed, primarily gay and lesbian soccer club and 501c3 non-profit group that welcomes players of all skill levels and orientations. In addition to weekly practices held throughout the year at both outdoor and indoor venues, the Falcons participate in various regional leagues for men and women, and in tournaments locally, nationally and internationally. Each October the club hosts the Pumpkin Patch Open, which draws teams from up and down the east coast and beyond. A friendly, fun outlet for sport as well as socializing, the Falcons club is a proud member of the International Gay & Lesbian Football Association (IGLFA).

The Philadelphia Falcons Soccer Club invite women from around the world to join them in the sixth Pumpkin Patch Open soccer tournament - October 6 - 8, 2006.
